Relax on a gorgeous deck with a breathtaking lake view, or take a canoe to explore Talon Shoots (only steps away from the boats and our boat launch). Cook smores at the waterfront firepit with your family, or stay indoors, read a book, and drink coffee next to the wood stove. Take an ice-fishing excursion or cross-country skiing down the bay. Enjoy the amenities, including a full three-piece bathroom inside the cabin (a first at Otter Pointe!) However you want to experience nature, your options at Water Lily are endless. Overview
Experience the most luxurious form of glamping ever conceived at our new Water Lily Cabin. This newly renovated gem is four-season, has a heated floor and a three-piece private bathroom inside the cabin. You are steps away from the point, giving you ready access to all boats, the boat launch and incredible lake views.
Heated water in the kitchen sink with a full-sized refrigerator, a convection cooktop, and a Keurig are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Whether relaxing at the outdoor firepit or taking a canoe to explore, Water Lily promises an unforgettable getaway that combines serenity, style, and natural splendour.
We do charge a $100 security deposit with every booking. This will be refunded within 1 week of your checkout date as long as no damage is found from your stay and you do not violate any of Otter Pointe’s Rules. If Abi deems that damage was caused during your stay at Otter Pointe or significant violations of Otter Pointe’s rules have occurred, your security deposit will be held.

Amenities
This structure includes:
– One King bed and one couch that can be used as a futon
– Bedding
-Four-Season Accommodations
– A Keurig and some coffee pods
– Tea, Hot Chocolate, and Marshmallows (tiny)
– Microwave
– Full-sized fridge with freezer
– Convection stovetop and pans
– Toaster
– Kettle and teapot
– BBQ (Spring-Fall, weather permitting)
– Beach towels
– Kitchen sink with hot running lake water (not potable)
– In-floor heating and a wood stove. Please note: Only wood we provide can be burned in our wood stoves. DO NOT burn cardboard, plastic, or any items not provided by Otter Pointe in the wood stove or you may lose your security deposit
– Access to a private three-piece bathroom suite with hot water and a shower, sink, and toilet (water is not potable).
– Plates/ cups/ mugs/ cutlery
– A jug of potable drinking water
– Outdoor firepit
– For $5/dozen, we can put farm fresh eggs in your fridge for your arrival (subject to availability)
How To Pack
We recommend that you bring:
– Bath towels
– Your favourite drinks/snacks/food
– Shampoo/ conditioner/ toiletries
– Warm slippers or fuzzy socks
– A book to swap out at our free little library
– A bathing suit (during summer)
– Life jackets for any children who require them as we only provide adult life jackets.
– Snow shoes or cross-country skis to use on our property (during the winter when there is snow)
– Clothing appropriate for the season and whatever outdoor activities you wish to partake in
– Comfortable shoes, as our terrain can be uneven and rocky (and extremely snowy and icy in the winter)
– If you have never used a wood stove before, while we provide instructions, you may feel more comfortable if you research how to utilize them in advance of your stay
– If you enjoy outdoor activities, we are 13 minutes away from Antoine Mountain, one of the best ski hills in the area. I recommend you check out their website to see if they offer any activities that interest you:

– If you partake in ice fishing or other frozen lake activities during the winter, please use caution as we do not monitor the ice thickness or safety. As the ice on the lake can be thin, we recommend extreme caution, to consult official sources and use common sense and good judgement as there is a dam feeding Pimisi Bay
Check-in / Check-out
Check-In:
This is anytime at or after 4 pm. Please let Abi know your estimated arrival time in advance so she can warm up the dome for you.
Our resort is just off Highway 17, and we have a yellow otter posted near the road.
We ask that you turn left down our driveway and stop in front of the building with a deck. Call or text Abi at 289-241-2573 to let her know you are here. Abi will take you to your rental and provide keys to the structure.
Checkout:
By 1 pm on your last day. If you check out later than this time on your checkout date without prior discussion with Abi about an alternative time, you will forfeit your security deposit.
There is a white garbage shed by the washrooms, and you are asked to place your sealed trash bags and recycling in. Please do not leave any garbage or recycling in the cabin. You are required to clean and put away all dishes used before you check out, or you risk forfeiting your security deposit. Please call/text/email Abi to let her know you plan to leave, and if you have any questions or concerns, she will be happy to help! For checkout, please leave your keys in the cabin on the dining room table and leave the front door unlocked. If you require a later checkout time, please speak with Abi; she will do what she can to accommodate you!
